which is hard when you have been up since 4 am - looked after a sick baby and amused a toddler while shopping for a birthday present and at 10:42pm you have only just put the sick baby down again.
All I can be right now is asleep and hopefully for more then 2 - 3 hours :D
what do I want to be? I want to be a super fit, kick ass skater!
how will I get there? By not letting any obstacles permanently block my path! That is my new thing - if there is something in the way - skate around it or jump over it!! :D :D
Food:
thank god I only had 1 slice of chocolate in the house because lindt 70% in half with peanut butter in the middle is pure HEAVEN!!
Dodge I would love to be honest like you, but you will be shocked with how much I eat ! Here is today (not the best example, because I was feeling crappy & starving) so to make you feel better this is what a blow out should look like:
BREAKFAST:
peanut butter sandwich
SECOND BREAKFAST: (yes I do this - I do it every day. I can not live on 1 breakfast - however it is usually a toast/sandwich and then cereal or fruit or eggs type combo made at home)
bacon and egg mcmuffin minus the cheese and minus the egg as the egg was crap looking - I so should have just had the poached egg on toast I was going to do at home!
leading on from that a small coke and a bite of a hash brown (the toddler saved me from the rest)
LUNCH:
Avocado sushi rolls (only ate 2 as they were crap) so was replaced by restaurant with teriyaki chicken. I ate maybe 1/2 of this at most as was shared with toddler and baby who love japanese food.
BAD SNACK:
1.5 hot cinnamon doughnuts - I had been walking for ages at this point and it was bribery to keep the toddler moving. I felt bad about this and worried the entire time that I already let him eat a hash brown that morning and that he was going to develop heart disease at the age if 5! Then I remembered that I am actually a food nazi with my kids and he isnt allowed to drink juice as a general rule and his diet is 99% of the time made up of homemade and whole ingrediant foods I make myself - so what if we splurge one day - that is what life is about!
moving on...
GOOD SNACK:
Banana
DINNER:
2 lamb chops, trimmed of all fat some carrot, corn, brocolli and quinoa that was left over from dinner the night before. I ate all this in the kitchen one handed while consoling crying sick baby and yelling at toddler to eat his vegetables and telling him tales of the amazing quinoa and what it will do for him if he eats it.
POST DINNER SNACK:
1 piece of lindt 70% and a dash of PB. heaven!
thought about ice cream (soy) did not go there. Thought about alcohol - also avoided. So for a crappy I had 2 hours sleep the night before and dealing with a very sick baby I think I did ok. Let downs - I did not eat enough fruit and vege. Positives - I drank lots of water all day and I didnt go for snacks as much as I really wanted too!!!
