I have bruises coming up on my arms, I ache and I am tired and I should be in bed - but I feel great and I have to share!!
Derby training today was great! I felt I was really getting back into it, and not just the physical side of it, but the whole game as such! I really love the whole game. the best thing was having my Dad up from Melbourne who is sport mad - he watched and in his way had much feedback and many tips on how to improve. He also told me I was awesome which was great to hear :D
The gym... still going to join - just waiting on payday! I can't wait :)
Food - yesterday was my daughters first birthday and there was so much food glorious food (all made by me since we avoid so much crap in food) anyway you will be pleased to know my busy in the kitchen day read like this:
PB sandwich
coke (needed caffiene)
1 x chicken strip, 1 x mini sausage roll (seriously bite sized), 1 x lamb kofta, 1 slice of yummy bday cake.
steak and steamed vege (brocolli, carrot, asparagus)
1 x corona
That is it!!! I felt very proud and the party food I ate as I said was all home made, full of vege and low fat (except the chicken strip - but was only a small one!!)
Happy birthday Kiera, Auntie Dodge loves ya! It's good that you ate lots of vegies. Try not to kill off fat entirely, there are good fats in the world, too! Wonderful job of stocking up on the protein, it's exactly what you need after an ass kickin' training session like we had on Sunday! I'm not sore but I LOVED it!
